How our online 3D printing service works, step by step
You never have to visit us to get a part printed. Everything from the file to the delivery happens by email, WhatsApp and mail, wherever you are in the country.
Keep an eye on your phone or inbox after sending the file. If something in the model is unclear, such as the scale, the number of copies or which side is the top, we ask before quoting, and a quick reply keeps your order moving.
- Export your model as STL or 3MF from the program you designed it in, or download it from the site where you found it.

- We review the file and send you the quote with the material and the printing time.
- Once you approve it, we print the parts at our Miami shop.

How to send a file for online 3D printing
A 3D printer reads a model only after it is prepared for printing, and that preparation is our job. What you send us is the model itself, as an STL or a 3MF. STL is the most common format and almost every design program and model library can export it. A 3MF can carry more information in a single file, which helps when a project has several parts.
Attach the file to an email or a WhatsApp message and mention the name you used in the form, so we can match them. If you are ordering several parts, give each file a clear name and tell us how many copies of each you want. If you do not have a file at all, we can design the part for you; design is quoted apart from printing.
Check the units before exporting. A model drawn in inches but read as millimeters comes out about 25 times smaller than intended, so write the real size of the part in the «Approximate size» field of the form and we compare it with the file.
Materials and colors for parts you order online
We print in two materials. PLA+ is rigid, easy to print and meant for indoor parts such as prototypes, models, figurines, props and decor; it begins to soften around 60°C. PETG resists impacts and bends before it breaks, handles about 85°C and stays UV stable outdoors, which suits brackets, clips, containers, enclosures and outdoor fixtures.
Colors are those of the IIID Max and Fremover filaments sold at filament.supplies3d.shop, so you can look at the filament before you choose. If you are not sure which material fits your part, choose «Not sure, advise me» in the form and tell us what the part will do.
Ordering 3D prints online: sizes, quantities and timing
There is no minimum order, so one part shipped to another state is as welcome as a batch. Small, simple parts can print in about an hour, while larger ones need longer, and the exact printing time comes with your quote, so you can plan around it.
Size is not a hard limit either. A part bigger than one print can be cut into sections, printed separately and joined after printing, if you agree to that approach. And if you are in the Miami area after all, the same order can be picked up at 7086 NW 50th Street, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or brought to you with local delivery.
When you plan around a deadline, count both the printing time in the quote and the days the package spends in transit to your state. If the date matters, put it in the «When do you need it?» field so we can tell you early whether it can be met.
